If you’re looking for some culture, history, and fun on the cheap, check out the free days at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Red Butte Garden, and the Utah Museum of Natural History on the first Monday of each month. Look for the dinosaurs that roamed the Wasatch Front at the UMNH, take in the acres of horticulture at Red Butte, and discover the eclectic collection of paintings and sculpture at the UMFA. Even when it’s not a free day, admission is reasonable, and all three locations offer youth discounts.
